So, what we've done is searched the UK for genuine pure Acai supplements (this was done during the week starting the 26th October 2009).
We've only included products that are pure acai only, with no added ingredients.
We've also looked for clear evidence that the product is freeze-dried, and taken note of whether it is organic and has Fairtrade™ accreditation ... and here's what we found:
(Note: If we've missed any website out, let us know here)
PureAcaiBerry.com

Pure-Acai.co.uk (A completly seperate site)
We checked with the manufacturing plant if this site had been sold any of the new Pure Acai™ on the 20th November.
They said "NO".
That is despite advertising on their site that they are selling it!
If you do buy from them, check the ingredients label, and the colour of the capsules - they should be dark purple, almost black.

Okay ... well the first site listed above, pureacaiberry.co.uk, runs an affiliate program. That means they pay people to promote their website for a commission on the sales they generate. Perfectly legal and above board. BUT, it means that £10.82 of a bottle price goes to the affiliate. So websites that have affiliates have to put their prices up to pay them.
What about the others? Well to be quite honest, we are a very small company, with very low overheads. We don't have a fancy office, fancy car, or even a secretary! Because our overheads are very low, we can afford to keep our prices very low.
Plus, we believe if we keep our prices low, we'll get more orders as well as repeat customers.
